Flake flooring: what is it?

Polyaspartic
Polyaspartic coating is far superior to most epoxy & polyurethane coatings if you want the best possible floor protection.
Polyaspartic coatings, were introduced by one of the German’s leading chemical companies, Bayer, in the early 1990s. First used as a protective steel coating, this new technology provided corrosion prevention for applications such as bridges and other harsh environments.

Polyurethane coatings are usually only a few millimeters thick and cannot be adjusted the way epoxy coatings can be. But polyaspartic isn't like that. It can be adjusted different thickness easily.
It is extremely chemical and impact resistant, much like epoxy, but unlike traditional epoxy, it is UV stable and does not turn yellow when exposed to sunlight or other UV light sources. Even when exposed to substantial variations in humidity and temperature, it maintains its strength and resistance to scratches.
Polyaspartic is solids-based, it can have very little or no VOC.
They are equally as durable as traditional epoxy floors and dry and cure even quickly.
